Redesigning HealthBar’s Digital Experience for Clarity and Growth

HealthBar delivers onsite and virtual healthcare to schools, businesses, and communities. I led UX for their website redesign and worked alongside Art Directors and designers to reimagine their brand expression, simplifying complex offerings into clear user journeys that positioned the brand as approachable and mission-driven.

Context

HealthBar rapidly expanded during the pandemic, pivoting into new service models for businesses and schools.

Their existing site didn’t clearly explain offerings or direct prospective partners to the right information.

The brand needed a digital presence that felt trustworthy, modern, and easy to navigate for non-technical users making important health decisions.

Approach

Led UX design and site architecture to clarify service pathways (businesses, schools, individuals).

Collaborated on visual design and content structure, balancing professionalism with accessibility.

Collaborated with development to ensure the experience was flexible and scalable as services evolved.

Focused on a tone and aesthetic that made healthcare feel approachable rather than complicated.

Outcome

Delivered a redesigned website
that streamlined navigation
across audiences and reflected an evolved business model.

Created a visual system that supported HealthBar’s mission of bringing care “where you are.”

Enabled the brand to more effectively engage schools and businesses, reinforcing their credibility in a crowded healthcare landscape.

For HealthBar, elevating the brand meant rethinking its design system using typography and color not just for hierarchy, but as tools to guide audiences and create a more flexible, accessible experience. AI exploration helped us shape image direction quickly and move with speed.
